Today we played Torque Speed in the first round of the Essex County Cup and what a game it turned out to be. 2 yellow cards, 2 penalties and a final score of 8-1. In my view one of the yellow cards and penalties were doubtful to say the least but that's ref's for you.

Despite this Wilburn kept battling throughout the game and created chances and not once did the boys heads drop when not so long ago they might have.

Wilburn showed true character and were rewarded when Tommy scored the teams only goal. There was no doubt that Torque Speed are a good team who gave us a hard time but like I said we still gave a good account of ourselves against tough opposition so well done boys.
