The last time we played Pegusus,we were under strength, so a return to their Corringham home was always going to be a match we were confident of winning. The wind was almost hurricane force at times and played a big part in this match, high lofted balls were not an option. Strikes on and off target came thick and fast, with Brad nearly chipping the keeper. A corner taken by Michael was nearly converted by Tommy's over head kick in spectacular fashion, but the keeper was in the right place. Our missing striker from the friendly match,Chris,got the goal after a sustained period of pressure. A few minutes later Tommy was fouled just outside the penalty area. With one thing on his mind he struck the ball sweetly into the top left hand corner to make the score 2-0.

The second half was more of the same long periods of pressure. The boys were bolstered when Tony made 3 subs,Chris'O on for Jimmy, Luke M on for JD and Corin on for Brad. Charlie had a rare strike on goal which hit the post.

To sum up, a good performance by the Squad and a over due clean sheet for Josh. Well played all.
