Wilburn wanderers 4-2 Essex comets

First half                   

As Wilburn started to arrive there where blustery winds and we new that it was going to be hard.

As Essex comets kicked off they strung a few passes together ,a ball over the top and their striker quickly on to it and scored. Five minutes later Wilburn were pressing hard and finally got a goal with mistakes from their defense .Chris took it around the keeper with ease and confidence, this was Chris’s 100^thGoal! Just before the end of the first half Essex comets won a corner, as the corner was whipped in our defense kicked it away ,but unluckily it came to a player in red, he had a shot and scored.

Second half

In the second half Wilburn were playing well with passing football, with the defense making mistakes .They cleared it out to Tommy and he had only one intention, shoot, as he did so ball flew past the keeper into the net with power and precision. Pressing the ball and getting tackles in, after sometime the blues pressing payed off as Corin ran down the left side and crossed it in but it didn’t go in the box it went in the net in spectacular fashion. Time passed and Chris kept trying to score ,but with no luck. As Charlie kicked the ball in the defender missed, it flew up in the air and Chris headed home.

My man of the match was Corin for one of our best goals this season,Keep up the good work.
