This was another great performance by Wilburn. With attack after attack showing what we are capable of. In the first minute Christopher opened the deadlock with a well taken side foot which gave the keeper no chance. 5 minutes later Chris did it again doubling the score. It was all Wilburn and after a good ball over Tommy was first to react with a brilliant lob. Shields got back into the game with a well-worked attack which lead to a goal. But Wilburn kept up the pressure and Luke Rivet played a great through ball and Chris rounded the keeper for the 4^th.  JD was jumping up and down when he was caught offside, but was happy a few minutes later when he put the ball into the net to make it 5-1 at half time .

 

Second half

 

Tony brought Liam on for Luke M. Wilburn found Shields a tougher side in the second half and a great finish came with a good solo effort 5-2. When Robert was forced to come off Charlie came out of sweepers position to cover for him on the left. Wilburn struggled to keep their rhythm but Wilburn got that ball through and JD finished with a well timed goal. Although the final score stayed 6-2 it was only poor finishing by Shields that stopped them from scoring 3 or 4 but a great TEAM performance gave us another 3 points.
